To save weight in the drive train of the Velox V10 PRO, Shepherd has just released an aluminium shaft for the middle bearing block. Compared to the standard shaft, the new aluminum shaft is about 65% lighter, resulting in improved acceleration. For durability and wear resistance, the shaft is hard-coated.
