Schelle Racing has just released their new "Nova" slipper clutch system for the Team Associated and TLR 1:10 scale offroad lineup.
Schelle Chief Engineer Kurt Wenger’s original 3-plate clutch was released in 2012, and now Schelle has the latest incarnation of Kurt’s design. The Nova Slipper Clutch is a direct fit onto the B5, B5M, TLR 22 2.0, and many other Team Associated and TLR vehicles.
Schelle says, "The Nova 3-plate design solves all of the problems racers are having with kit slipper clutches that degrade and lock-up. In addition, it is smaller and weighs less making it the ideal slipper clutch for stock racers. The Nova Slipper Clutch has 20% more torque capacity (depending on car brand) in a compact package that helps you put more power to the ground and lasts longer between rebuilds. The other benefit of the Nova is that Nova sets include 4 slipper pads (2 white, 2 red) and a tuning guide to help racers learn how to tune the clutch for different conditions from slick to astro-turf."
