The new outdoor compound labeled as "soft - outdoor" works alongside the blue, however, it is much more friendly in warm / hot conditions as seen at outdoor events. In the hot weather, red compound gets drivers up to speed quickly providing more stability and better reaction for quicker laps. The red is not a replacement for any compound but used as an alternative in warm and hot weather conditions and abrasive tracks.
