From RC Concept:

Since being introduced to the world of RC at four years old, RC Concept founder Sébastien Chaffardon has been competing at the national and international level for over 30 years. He and his team of RC Concept designers have built the brand on offering innovative, reliable, and available products.

After many hours of research, they’ve now released details of the new MC engine. Offering power, low-speed drivability, and and reliable performance, RC Concept MC engines look different from the traditional nitro engine.

In particular, the engine head was developed after many different test sessions. The head’s cooling fins point upward, allowing for better cooling. Air flow can escape more quickly through the vertical fins atop the cylinder head, rather than being trapped by the horizontal fins of a traditional design - this helps reduce a wide change in temperature in hot weather.

The engine case has also been designed in order to improve exhaust flow while providing optimal support for the sleeve.

The cylinder head was developed by RC Concept after many tests. The cooling fins pointing upwards allow better cooling of the cylinder head. The flow of air can escape more easily with vertical fins of the cylinder head RC Concept unlike ordinary cylinder head where the heat comes banging on the horizontal fins. This avoids temperature variations especially in hot weather.

The housing has been studied in order to improve the flow of exhaust springs to prevent deformation of the liner. The crankshaft is filled with silicone paste, and spins on ceramic bearings.
