New from Novarossi:

Novarossi’s new Clio P5 is based on the racer-favorite 5-port engine of the same serial number.

The engine head has been machined greatly to reduce and lower its mass, giving the car a lower center of gravity.

The sleeve has five transfer ports, designed to offer linear power delivery and miserly fuel consumption.

The crankshaft has a large intake window to increase the flow of the air/fuel mixture, and the outlet has been shaped to maximize movement toward the combustion chamber.

A lightweight aluminum connecting rod was designed using ultrasonic testing to ensure little turbulence is created by the rod’s movement through the engine’s stroke.

A plastic three-needle carburetor was designed for smoother idle and faster return to idle from high rpm.

The Clio P5 uses turbo glow plugs.

An o-ring seals the combustion chamber by reducing vibration between the engine head and the case.

Ignition timing can be altered by using compression rings of different thicknesses.
