New from TLR:

TLR Alum MM Rear Camber Tower Brass/Alum: 22/2.0/T/SCT, #TLR334019

The TLR Race Team has done extensive testing this year tuning their Mid-Motor 22 2.0’s and 22SCT 2.0’s with brass weight from front to rear. For medium to low grip tracks, adding 14g of additional weight over the rear of the vehicle improvement balance on the 22 2.0 and 22SCT 2.0. It gets 14g of extra ballast as low and as far to the rear of the vehicles as possible. This has helped to increase the rear weight bias of the 22 2.0 and 22SCT 2.0, which creates more rotation and forward drive, and an all-around better balance.

Run as a standard part on the team’s MM 22’s for quite a while, the Aluminum Rear Camber Block is unchanged, adding durability to the rear camber link’s inner ball stud – we’ve just now added the brass base for greater fine tuning. Machined from high quality brass and 7075-T6 aluminum, the MM Camber Tower will fit the 22, 22 2.0, 22T, 22SCT, and 22SCT 2.0 without any further parts of modifications in Mid-Motor configuration, but will NOT fit any of the 22 vehicles in Rear-Motor configuration.

Key Features
  • Greatly improved the durability of the 22 series in MM, mounting the rear inner ball stud in aluminum
  • Brass and Aluminum tower bases included give the tuning option to add 14g to the rear weight bias
  • Precision CNC Machined from durable 7075-T6 Aluminum and Hard Anodized and brass
  • Laser Etched for easy identification of weight delta
  • Direct fit replacement will mount to any 22 platform Mid-Motor vehicle without any other parts of modifications required
Rear Pivot, LRC, 2.0 Deg Toe: 22-4, #TLR334023

The Product Development Team and Team Losi Racing Team has been constantly testing over the summer and found there to be some substantial setups advantages when reducing the amount of toe angle on the 22-4 in certain track conditions. Dakotah Phend, Dustin Evans, Ryan Maifield, and Trever Adamo have all been testing with body 2.0 and 2.5 degrees of rear toe on their 22-4s throughout the summer, notching up many big wins along the way.

When reducing the total amount of rear toe angle, the rear end of the car is freed up throughout the turns, which helps the 22-4 pick-up speed on higher grip tracks. On lower grip tracks, more rear toe angle helps provide forward drive out of turns and more side bite and stability mid-corner. Balancing between the forward drive given by more toe, and the added steering of less toe, we recommend the 2.0 degree block for higher and medium high grip tracks, the 2.5 degree block for medium and medium low grip tracks, and the stock 3.0 toe for low grip tracks.

Key Features
  • Reduces the rear wheel toe angle by 1 degree from stock (3.0 degrees) which improves balance on higher grip surfaces
  • Laser Etched with clear markings
  • Precision CNC machined from durable 7075-T6 Aluminum and Hard Anodized
  • Requires no other parts of custom modifications
Rear Pivot, LRC, 2.5 Deg Toe: 22-4, #TLR334024

Key Features
  • Reduces the rear wheel toe angle by .5 degree from stock (3.0 degrees) which improves balance on medium grip surfaces
  • Laser Etched with clear markings
  • Precision CNC machined from durable 7075-T6 Aluminum and Hard Anodized

Front Hinge Pin Set: 22-4, #TLR234036
The TLR Race Team has done extensive testing this year with their 22-4’s in all conditions. One large improvement we’ve made to add to the durability of the 22-4 was to remove the notch from the center of the 22-4 front inner hinge pins. Now secured in place with a M2.5 locknut, the front hinge pin has been far more durable without the groove originally included to secure the hinge pin.

To make this awesome upgrade easily accessible, it is now offered independently from the other hinge pins. This will only fit the TLR 22-4 4WD Buggy.

Key features
  • Greatly improved the durability of the 22-4 front end
  • Eliminate the use of set screws to secure the front hinge pin – now locks in place using a locknut
  • Precision CNC Machined, heat treated, and Ti-Carbonitride coated
  • Now available separately!
8IGHT-T 3.0 Electric Body, Clear #TLR340000

The Product Development Team at Team Losi Racing keeps their ears to the ground listening for products the racers want and need – and this is the latest result of that effort. Many racers out there have been buying the 8IGHT-T 3.0 Truggy and converting it to an electric version using LOSA0912, but have had to use the Nitro 8IGHT-T 3.0 body with the all the additional nitro holes pre-cut, which is not ideal. Now available is the 8IGHT-T 3.0 Electric Truggy Body. This body has the same great style and performance as the 8IGHT-T 3.0 body, but all of the “Nitro Specific” holes for the engine head, fuel gun, and tank pull have not been cut out.

This body is only intended for use with an electric converted 8IGHT-T 3.0. It can be used for a Nitro 8IGHT-T 3.0 if it is desired to cut out the holes in the chassis by the user.
