PDX RC Underground is moving and expanding!

After 4 years in the current location, PDX RC Underground is moving to a much larger location! 

During the last 4 years, what started as a side business for owner Kevin Focht has now outgrown the current space located in the Hollywood district of Portland, Oregon. Focht had been keeping his eye open for a new space, when the current landlord informed him they decided to lease out the whole building to a new tenant starting this summer. 

So the search was on. 

“It was actually a great time to find a larger space,” Focht said. “The retail spaces are plentiful right now, with businesses struggling during Covid-19”. 

The current location is a little over 4000 sq. feet, making the new location at 9400 sq. feet over double the size. The new space will have a 90x48 foot carpet off-road track, (the old space was 75x35) a basher track, mini z and possibly a crawler course or drift track. The location is in the Beaverton suburb of Portland with easy access from everywhere in the Portland metro area. “I’m just excited to be able to host the large events that I wasn’t able to at the old space,” Focht said.

The renovation will start April 1st with the soft open on the 15th.
