After a lot of practice and a long day of qualifying, the grid is now set for the first major nitro off-road race of 2011, the CRCRC Midwest Nitro Championships. This race showcases some of r/c's biggest names, and this year we see a lot of drivers with new teams. This year the race also has Renaud Savoya in attendance now that he has moved to the USA from France. This will be his first race since his switch to Durango.
Qualifying was based off of the single fastest run of 3 total rounds of qualifying. The grid is as follows:
