This year’s Swedish National Championship for 1/8-scale off-road was held at the new MK Eskil track located next to the Gröndal motor stadium in Eskilstuna. HB-HPI Racing driver David Ronnefalk set the fastest times in qualifying to earn TQ honors, won his semifinal by nearly a lap, and then seized the championship by winning the final with nearly a two-lap cushion on the rest of the field. Andreas Edvinsson and Christoffer Svensson rounded out the podium.
Final finishing order:
Just days before the start of the race, David severely cut the middle finger on his right hand while working in the garden at home. Thanks to the quick care of his mother, he was able to recover in time to race over the weekend!
