JJ Wang won last weekend's GP Brazil, the official warm-up race for this year's IFMAR World Championships, according to a Facebook post made yesterday by his father Rick. The race suffered from a low turnout over fears of immgration and customs problems, which turned out to be a non-issue. “This track is world class, this city is safe, and the people are fantastic,” said Rick.

In the 45-minute final, Wang finished three laps ahead of Cesar Salvadori with Eduardo Geraldelli another five laps behind in third.
