Team Orion & Ryan Cavalieri TQ & Win Modified Touring Car @ 2015 ROAR 1/10 Electric On-Road Paved Nationals in California!

The 2015 ROAR 1/10 Electric On-Road Paved Nationals were held this past weekend at the Tamiya USA track in beautiful Aliso Viejo, California. This has been the famous site of numerous Reedy International Touring Car Race of Champions events. Team Orion Factor Driver's Ryan Cavalieri & Randy Caster would roll into this years ROAR Nationals with high hopes against the USA's best. With over 100 entries at this years ROAR Nats, it was going to be a great weekend of racing!

Schedule:

Wednesday, September 9th: Open Practice
Thursday, September 10th: Controlled Practice
Friday, September 11th: 2 Rounds of 6-Minute Qualifying
Saturday, September 12th: 2 Rounds of 6-Minute Qualifying
Sunday, September 13th: 6-Minute Triple A-Main Events

Team Orion Factory Driver Ryan Cavalieri would secure the overall TQ honors by taking the TQ's in rounds #3 & #4 of qualifying! Also in the A-Main Event for Team Orion was Randy Caster who would start 5th on the grid!Team Orion's Ryan Cavalieri took full advantage of his hard earned TQ position and went onto dominate A-Main #1 & A-Main #2, leading each A-Main Event from tone to tone and take home his 1st ever ROAR Modified Touring Car National Championship!

Team Orion's Randy Caster who also was the lead mechanic behind Ryan Cavalieri's TQ & Winning Team Associated ride would run strong all weekend and finish 7th overall!
