Race report from Schumacher:

Schumacher driver Elliott Harper has wrapped up the BRCA Touring Car Modified Title at the last race in the calendar at West London!

Going into the final race of the season Elliott headed the championship results sheets, but 4 drivers could still take the win, including team mate Colin Price.

Elliott was out of the blocks early in qualifying on Saturday taking TQ in the first 2 rounds and a second in round 3.  The overall TQ position was not confirmed until round 5 but with fresher tyres remaining than his rivals for the finals, Elliott was in a strong position.

The first final was easily won by Elliott with a faultless performance driving away from the field.  The second final was much closer for the first 3 minutes where veteran Chris Grainger would push extremely hard to find a way past Elliott.  Chris knew that he must pass to take the championship to the last leg but he pushed too hard and clipped the famous West London 'D' and rolled.  This gave Elliott and his Mi5evo the breathing space to ease off a little and make sure of no mistakes to bring it to the flag.  Colin Price finished 4th overall and was 4th in the championship, another very strong season.

So victory in the first two legs gave Elliott his first BRCA Modified National Title...Congratulations!!!

The Stock class was also an immense showing from the team, James Hart, Lee Price and Chris Gunter were all in the mix at the top of the timesheets.  In the end James took the TQ and the victory but was pushed super hard by Lee with some great racing to watch.  Chris rounded out the podium giving the team 1,2,3 positions dominating the race.  This gave them 2nd 3rd and 4th in the championship a great achievement!

Louis Parker also won the under 13 Junior title with some great drives in his first outdoor season.

Congratulations to all the team who took part at the Nationals this year and again to Elliott taking the Modified title!
