Neil Cragg was the only driver able to beat Jared Tebo in open practice, and the 2005 world champion set the fastest time in the second round while Tebo struggled to an eighth place finish. Cragg said his B5M prototype was just as good as it was in the first round and that he simply didn’t make any mistakes. Behind Cragg, Ryan Maifield recovered from his DNF in the first round with the second best finish, while Spencer Rivkin edged his world champion teammate Ryan Cavalieri by three-hundredths of a second. Kyosho’s Naoto Matsukura was fifth.
