Japanese Kyosho driver Yusuke Sugiura improved his seed time by over half a second in the final seeding practice round, which moved him up from fourth to the top spot heading into the start of qualifying on Friday. Bruno Coelho moved from 3rd to 2nd after improving his time by 44-hundredths, and he edged current 4WD European Champion Michal Orlowski by two-tenths of a second after the Polish Schumacher driver moved up four spots in the final round. Behind Orlowski, Jared Tebo and Martin Bayer - the top two after the previous round - failed to improve their times. Three-time former champion Ryan Cavalieri didn’t improve either, slipping one spot to sixth, while Lee Martin moved up from 10th to 7th as he picked up 16-hundredths of a second. Neither David Ronnefalk nor Naoto Matsukura improved their times - slipping to 8th and 9th, respectively - while Ty Tessmann improved by 754-thousandths to move from 17th to 10th.
