Race report from Tyler Jones:

I attended the 29th annual CRCRC Winter Midwest Championship. Nearly 400 entries and 5 days of on track activities. The race is held at The RC Factory in Jeffersonville, OH and brings in several factory drivers and team representatives.

I ran mod stadium truck, mod 2wd buggy, and mod 4wd buggy. All of my TLR vehicles were hooked up on JConcepts Gold Dirtwebs and LRP motors and esc's rocketed them all to blistering lap times while being controlled by my Spektrum radio equipment. I was able to put all three vehicles in the triple A mains with this being only my second season of running 1/10 scale and attending this race for only the second time.

In mod truck, my TLR 22T 2.0 was looking sweet with the JConcepts body and excellent all weekend with only one change to my setup and I have to thank Jared Tebo for that!! He's an excellent driver and very approachable. I told him what my truck was doing and he told me what to change and it was dialed after that!! I would end up qualifying 3rd overall in truck with some driver mistakes but truck was blistering fast. After the triple A's were done, I would come out with a second place overall.

In 2wd mod buggy, my TLR 22 3.0 was fast but edgy on the sticky surface. My dad and I made several changes and got the car fast and comfortable. I had a lot of driver mistakes during a couple qualifiers and put me in C qualifier after the resort. The next day I put my head down and would end up qualifying 4th overall for the triple A mains. Main day came and I just couldn't get the runs in like I know I'm capable of and ended up 10th overall when the mains were finished. Feel I let some people down with my main runs. I'm still learning and will get the results I know I can achieve.

In 4wd mod buggy, my TLR 22-4 was really fast and pretty comfortable right off the get go. Got in some good qualifiers and I would qualify 6th for the triple A mains. Main day came and driver mental mistakes would get me. I had the speed to run the with the factory drivers but the mistakes got me. After the mains were done, I ended up 9th overall.
