Drake doubled at inaugural Dialed In Stadium Nitro Shootout

Last weekend was the first annual Stadium Nitro Shootout presented by Dialed IN R/C Raceway. The event was a great success and created a lot of exposure for the R/C community. Adam Drake was the top qualifier in Nitro Buggy and Nitro Truck. Drake went on the win the finals in both classes with his Mugen Seiki vehicles powered by Novarossi engines, Pro-Line tires, and Hitec electronics.

 

The event had a little over 100 entries. The finals were triple 10 minute A Mains. In buggy, Adam dominated the first two finals and won A2 by more then a lap. Drake didn't run A3. This allowed Clayton Saxton to settle into a solid lead before breaking. Richard Saxton took the win in A3. 

Truck: Adam got shuffled back in the beginning of A1, but came back and won the final. Knate Henkel won A2, followed by Drake and Fikes. A3 was all Drake, Drake won A3 by more then a lap.
