Tessmann dominated Sin City Nitro Encounter

RC Tracks of Las Vegas, which will host the IFMAR World Championships in October, held the first of several events leading up to this fall's big race over the weekend. The inaugural Sin City Nitro Encounter drew nitro off-road racers from all over the Southwestern U.S., as well as a handful of factory drivers eager to gain knowledge of the track surface and environment.

Though Ryan Lutz earned Top Qualifying honors in the Expert Truck division and Spencer Rivkin was the fastest in Expert Buggy, defending world champion Ty Tessmann dominated both finals - winning the Truck final by nearly 30 seconds and beating the Buggy field by over a lap.
