XRAY XB8 GT prototype debuted with runner-up finish at EFRA GT Cup in Croatia

Reigning 200mm IFMAR World Champion and multi-time ROAR and EFRA nitro on-road racing champions XRAY have been perhaps a bit slow to jump into the quickly growing GT market, but an official XB8-based prototype competed at last weekend's EFRA GT Cup in Zagreb, Croatia with Fabio Callegari driving the car to a runner-up finish. XRAY didn't include any info about the car in the following race report, nor any body-off photos, but any new information will be passed on immediately.

XB8 GT prototype on podium at EFRA GT Cup 

In free practice the car worked OK, but there was still something to gain. Only in the last qualification rounds we found some more pace and it was enough to qualify 6th. The semi-final was wet, but we had nice pace and we won it. In the final (also wet) we gained another position and finished 2nd.

After only a few months of testing and developing the prototype car we are so happy for this result and it gives confidence, since there is a lot more to come from the car.
