X-Factory's Bryant took two THE Series wins at TARCAR

X FACTORY'S RUSS BRYANT DOMINATES AT T.A.R.C.A.R. IN THE SERIES The third round in Michigan's 5-race THE Series was held Saturday July 9th at Steve Brummit's T.A.R.C.A.R. track just across the state line in Toledo, Ohio. (Toledo Area RC Auto Racing) This is a great Midwest private facility built in Steve's back yard, primarily a 1/8 scale track which was shortened for 1/10 scale racing with a 30 sec lap quite fast on the typical clay outdoor surface.

Russ Bryant, driving his X Factory Infinity T5M, TQed and won mod stadium truck again, just as he had done in the first two round of THE Series, locking up the championship for 2016.

He was simply dominate all year, winning almost every qualifier and, of course, the three A mains, and Saturday's race was no exception.

In mod short course, Bryant again took charge of the entire race with TQ and win driving his Infinity SC5M.

He took qualifier #3 by 10 seconds and a convincing wire-to-wire win in the A main. He also qualified 4th and finished 3rd in mod buggy with an Infinity B5M.

After the event, Russ said, "All three of my Infinity cars were very good in the difficult whoops section, and that gave me an advantage. While others were being thrown for a loop, my X Factory cars took all those jumps and bumps with ease. As usual for these outdoor clay tracks, there was a lot of dust all over the place and the surface began to break up as the day went on, but the Infinity chassis gave me that extra edge."
