British Team Associated driver and 2007 World Champion Neil Cragg has won the European Championship for the 2WD class in Valladolid, Spain.
Cragg earned the Top Qualifier honor after trading TQ runs over the five rounds of qualifying with Serpent's Jörn Neumann, with Cragg taking the advantage of the tiebreaker.
Cragg won the first race of the triple A-Main format by roughly 2.5 seconds over Neumann, but finished fifth in A2 while his German rival Neumann edged Michal Orlowski and Lee Martin to set up the title-deciding third leg. Neumann's momentum ran out in A3 and he finished fourth, while Cragg beat Orlowski to the finish line by .213 seconds and Martin finished another 8.5 seconds back in third.
