WORLDS: Volker is IFMAR ISTC World Champion

After a brilliant drive in the third A-Main, Ronald Völker and his new Team Yokomo BD8 won the overall title. After coming up short at several world championships throughout his career, the German's experience and patience prevailed in the final A-Main event, after Bruno Coelho made a couple of mistakes in the opening two laps that opened the door for Völker to pass - and knocked the Portuguese TQ out of the race.

Once he got out front, Völker set his cruise control and drove off into the Beijing sunset.
