Harper won BRCA Touring Car Nationals finale, Grainger secured Modified title

The final round of the BRCA Touring Car Nationals took place this weekend at the challenging West London circuit. It turned out to be an excellent meeting for the team under challenging track conditions. Saturday was wet, wet, and very wet, for practice and the first two rounds of qualifying, enough so that the meeting schedule had to be changed to incorporate extra rounds on Sunday and an earlier finish on Saturday as the tract was un-driveable.

At the end of qualifying Elliott Harper would take a dominant TQ with Paul Pinkney 2nd on the grid with their Mi6's. This is how the finals remained with Elliott off and away to win all three legs comfortably and wrap up the meeting.

Paul held on to his 2nd holding off the new BRCA Champ Chris Grainger and Olly Jefferies to take his best result of the season. Schumacher's development engineer Aaron Rose also made the main making it 3 Mi6's lining up in the top 10.

In the stock class Schumacher's James Hart took the fight once again to already crowned BRCA Champ Zak Finlay. James was much closer this time around but could not quite edge past Zak in the last main so it was second once again for James with Chris Gunter rounding off the podium. A total of 6 Mi6 cars made the A final in the stock class and awesome performance.

Overall after a slowish start to the year the team worked extremely hard to improve the set up of the new Mi6 platform. Elliott missed out on retaining his BRCA Championship by just 1 point over the 5 meeting series as always crazy close at the top for this Championship.
