Rob Janssen / Team Magic wins another club race and wins AMCA club championship !

Team Magic driver Rob Janssen wins another round of his local AMCA club championship in Apeldoorn, and also wins the season title.

Richard and Ronald Arts completed a full Team Magic podium; great job guys !!

Last weekend at our local club we had our last race of this outdoor season. Together with Richard we went there to participate. Also his brother Ronald Arts joined us, he used my second/rain car.

Two weeks before I had a day off at work and had a day of good testing at my local track. Testing springs, oil, roll-centre, etc. back and forward to really find what is working and not. This resulted in a really good set-up for me which i wanted to try this race.

In morning practise the car felt immediately really good. Guys were doing some 19 sec laps in the first runs, some 18 high, I opened doing a 18.0 lap.

My personal best lap at our local club with these tires/motor etc. was a 17.6 sec. fast lap. In Q1 I was able to do a 17.4 fast lap and also improved my 7 minute total time.

In Q2 and Q3 I didn’t hit the 17.4 again, but ended up doing a 17.5 lap, but improved the 7 minute time by 3 seconds. So really happy with that !

I really enjoyed driving the car like this. Lots of steering, good rear, easy to drive, and amazing fast !!

Richard came in second this day and Ronald 3. So a full Team Magic podium.
