Novotny doubled at Czech Winter Series opener

XB2 & XB4 win at Open Challenge R1 in the Czech Republic

The first round of winter series – Open Challenge took place last Sunday in Prague. Organisers prepared as usual nice track with super fast sections and big jumps.

In practice we started with my EOS setups and both my XB2C’17&XB4’16 worked awesome on much lower grip (compared to EOS). The only change we made was thinner oil in the differential of my XB2C’17 and then we went to qualifications.

In 2wd qualifications my Orion powered XB2C’17 was awesome, but transponder problems in Q1 meant DNF. However TQs in Q2&Q3 meant overall TQ!

In 4wd qualifications my XB4’16 was in its own league and TQed all three rounds with more than lap in front the 2nd driver.

In finals both my XRAY cars continued in its performance and took easily both overall wins!

It was a great start to winter season and I can’t wait to drive my XB2C’17 & XB4’16 again, both cars worked perfectly whole race! Thanks a lot to my parents and to all my parents!
