Cavalieri cruised to clean sweep of Team Associated Off-Road Championships

The 2016 Team Associated Off-Road Championships were held this past weekend at Trackside Hobbies & Raceway in Brookfield, Wisconsin. This first annual event brought in over 340 total race entries! AKA Factory Driver Ryan Cavalieri would have a very impressive weekend as he would go onto TQ 3 of the 4 modified classes he raced and then follow that up by Winning all 4 to complete the clean SWEEP!

And here's how he did it!

In the 2wd Modified Buggy class, Cavalieri would go onto TQ 3 out of 4 rounds of qualifying to secure the overall TQ!

Cav would then go onto take home his first Championship of the weekend by taking the Wins in A-Main #1 & A-Main #2!

2wd Modified Buggy Top 3 Overall:

1. Ryan Cavalieri (TQ) - AKA Evo CHAINLINK Fronts (13222CR) & CROSSLINK Rears (13127CR) both in Clay Compound
2. Alex Kosciuszek - JC
3. Chad Due - JC

In the 4wd Modified Buggy class, Cavalieri would go onto TQ 2 out of 4 rounds of qualifying. Cav would just miss out on the overall TQ to his AE teammate Spencer Rivkin after the tie breaker was calculated.

Cav would then go onto take home his second Championship of the weekend by taking the Wins in A-Main #2 & A-Main #3!

4wd Modified Buggy Top 3 Overall:

1. Ryan Cavalieri - AKA Evo TYPO Fronts (13320CR) & CROSSLINK Rears (13127CR) both in Clay Compound 
2. Spener Rivkin (TQ) - JC
3. Alex Kosciuszek - JC

In the Modified Truck class, Cavalieri would go onto TQ all 4 rounds of qualifying to secure the overall TQ!

Cav would then go onto dominate the single 7-minute A-Main to take home his third Championship of the weekend!

Modified Truck Top 3 Overall:

1. Ryan Cavalieri (TQ) - AKA CROSSLINK Tires Front & Rear (13404CR) both in Clay Compound
2. Brent Thielke -  JC
3. Aydin Horne - JC

In the 2wd Modified Short Course class, Cavalieri would also go onto TQ all 4 rounds of qualifying to secure the overall TQ!

Cav would then go onto Win the single 7-minute A-Main to take home his 4th Championship of the weekend and complete the SWEEP!

Congrats also to AKA's Christian Toic on finishing an impressive second overall!
