The Ohio RC Factory hosted the 30th annual CRCRC Winter Midwest Electric Championships last weekend, which for three decades has kicked off the off-road season. In his debut with AKA Products tires, Team Losi Racing star Dakotah Phend dominated the Modified 2WD, 4WD and 2WD Short Course classes, and fellow Team Orion-powered drivers Jared Tebo won the Modified Stadium Truck division and Aaron Kothman topped the 4x4 Short Course class to go with his Junior (15 and Under) title. Dreighton Stoub won the Stock 2WD and 13.5-turn 4WD classes, George Berridge III won the Stock Short Course main event, and Allen Horne beat the rest of the 40 and Over drivers.
