Hickerson won 40+ Buggy at January Jam

SOAR Racing USA attended the 2017 January Jam at FRC in Flowood Mississippi last weekend. There were 210 entries despite the unexpected snow storm that came through on Friday during practice. In the 40+ Nitro Buggy class, SOAR's Gene 'the machine' Hickerson qualified 2nd and Matt 'Puddin' Sistrunk qualified 4th for the 25 minute A-main. In the main, TQ Drew Spurgeon and Hickerson had a great battle for the lead during the first half of the race. After the final pit stops were made, Hickerson pulled away and went on to take the win followed by Reggie Tongue, Mark Marrow, Matt Sistrunk, and Tracy Abshire.
