Team Yokomo’s Ryan Maifield and Team Associated’s Ryan Cavalieri each won their heats in round 11, setting up a race for the title in which the two former champions will compete against one another in the same heat. Meanwhile, Maifield’s teammate Lee Martin drove his Yokomo buggy to his first round win of the weekend.
