This past weekend the Pro-Line Racing test track hosted the 2017 SoCal Nitro Shootout. The event gathered a list of talent from across the state and surrounding areas, including that of Mugen Seiki's Adam Drake. Adam would take top honors in Pro Buggy qualifying, while it was HB Racing's Cody King who set the pace in Pro Truggy.

When it came time for the mains, it was all about The Drake. Adam would go on to score a double by winning both Pro Buggy and Pro Truggy A-Mains.
