For the fourth year in a row, RCI V2 in Shanghai, China hosted the opening around of the Asian On-Road Championship schedule. The event was attended by 88 drivers from all over Asia, North America and Europe, comprising 109 entries in seven classes.
The large carpet racing surface at RCI V2 was separated into a fast, flowing layout for the occasion:
And the off-road track operated by SMP RC Racing in the same complex was used as an overflow pit area:
In addition to an ultra-competitive event with some of the fastest drivers on the planet - including world champion Naoto Matsukura, international stars like Alexander Hagberg and Viktor Wilck, and RCI V2’s home-track hero JJ Wang - the AOC races give those who travel a chance to experience the sights of some of the most amazing cities in Asia.
