Race Report from inforc.net:

After being unable for several reasons to win the first two races of this championship, finishing second un both of them behind Juan Carlos Canas, this third round belonged to Batlle from the very beginning. During the training sessions he already showed his intentions of destroying all other contestants, as he did in qualifying, achieving the pole position with ease.

Meanwhile his closest competitor, Juan Carlos Canas, seemed not to be having his better race, showing some difficulties to adopt his driving style to the layout from Santa Perpetua, Barcelona. The track was great, classical old school with lots of 180º curves, lot of flow, small jumps and medium grip. The club did an awesome job preparing it and the new soil hold all the weekend without one single bump.

Then came Jose Tomas Escudero to show there are more competitors in this championship other than Batlle and Canas, perfirming great during the qualis. So did Bryan Baldo, who won a great semifinal in front of Joao Figueiredo and securing the second position in the main final starting grid. His brother Oscar had to fight in the LCS with Javi Pombo, to obtain access to the final, after a flameout in the semi.

During the final, no one never had any chances to move Batlle from the first position, he kept it from the beginning to the end, lapping twice all the other competitors. Just crazy, as Spanish nats used to be some years ago. But fortunately for all the spectators, the other positions had a lot of fights for them, including Canas, Bryan, Figueiredo, Iniesta…it was a VERY funny final, we recommend you to check the video.
