SOAR Racing USA would like to congratulate the whole team for putting every single 998 TD1-R buggy & truggy there in the A-mains and ending up with a win & 4 Podiums at the ROAR Region 4 Off Road Championships at Southside RC Raceway - host of the 2018 ROAR Nationals in Lake City Florida. Team SOAR showed the speed of the new 998 TD1-R buggy and truggy by taking 2 TQ's in round 1 with Gene 'the machine' Hickerson in 40+ Nitro Buggy and Chris Marrant in Pro Truggy. And in the final round of qualifying, Hickerson scored a TQ in 1/8 Pro Buggy. Marrant made the A-main in Pro Buggy, Pro E-Buggy, and finished 2nd Place in Pro Truggy.

Hickerson had an amazing weekend and finished on the podium in all 3 classes with a 4th in Pro Buggy, 3rd in Pro Truggy, and 1st Place in 40+ Nitro Buggy. Joey Perez & Mitch Zeck both made the A-main in Buggy and Truggy with their pre-production 998 TD1-R vehicles as well. The 2018 SOAR Racing 998 TD1-R will be available in the USA soon at Dialed-RC Hobbies.
