Round 5 of the 2018 JBRL Nitro Series was held at Empire RC in Brentwood, Ca. this past weekend. The event had a great turnout with 160 entries. Adam Drake was in control all day as he took the overall TQs in Nitro Buggy, Electric Buggy and Open Truggy. Drake went on to sweep the A-mains!

In Expert Buggy Drake would take the win with a lap margin over Kyle Layton in 2nd and Carlos Arredondo rounded out the top 3. In Open Truggy it was again Drake on top with Kyle Turner and Dean Rock finishing 2nd and 3rd. Drake again took the win Open E-Buggy followed by Kyle Turner and Austin Blair in 2nd and 3rd.
