The first major race on the Australian EP offroad calender, the Tasmanian EP Offroad Titles, has been run and won at the Goodwood R/C Club with a "Nationals Quality" field and a very challenging track.

While there were many drivers who looked promising to take the overall victories, Josh Pain was in a class of his own in 2wd on the challenging Tasmanian track. His Yokomo BMAX2 was dialed in as he easily took the first 2 finals wins and consequently the overall victory. It was a close fought for second and third with 3 drivers battle for the final podium spots. Sam Wells finished second overall with a win in the third leg and Matt Griffin tied up the third spot.

4wd was a different affair for Pain, with some tight battles coming from second place driver Chris Sturdy and third place driver Matt Griffin. All three drivers gaining a win in the three finals, and Josh and Chris both having a win and a second, the tie breaker went to the fasted winning time.

Pain just edged out Sturdy by 2 seconds to get the overall win and claim the prestigious dual Tazmanian titles along with some vital Worlds Qualifier Points.

Josh was running Ryper Hobbies Products straight off the shelf with Yokomo BMAX cars, AKA tires, Futaba radio gear, LMR wings, Schelle Bearings, and Track and Field LiPo power.
