XRAY NT1 double win at French Championship Nitro Round 4
Race report by Eric Aita
French Championship 1/10 Nitro Round 4 took place this weekend at Lentilly track near Lyon. From 50 Pilotes were 85% of XRAY NT1. XRAY had 6 NT1 in Main Elite and also 6 in National finals.
Qualification:
In National class, it was Maxime Legay who was TQ in front of Philippe Martineau and Stephane Campourcy.
In Elite class, Leo Arnold killed everybody in Q3 and became TQ. Basile Concialdi 2nd and Quentin Leroux 3rd.
Finals:
In National class, A great fight start between Stephane Campourcy and Maxime Legay who has to stop after his rear belt was broken. Mathieu Delfour did a very good race to finish 2nd in the same lap of Stephane. The fight for 3rd was hard between Romain Mestiri and Ludovic Long, the two first men of National French Championship. Finally, Romain finished 3rd and Ludovic 4th.
In Elite class, Quentin Leroux took the best start and kept the first place until he stopped, only 5 minutes before the end of the race. The fight was hard with tires changes. And finally Michael Derderian won the this 4th round without tires change strategy in front of Thomas Guillon and Basile Concialdi.
