From Ty Tessmann (via Facebook):
Ty Tessmann swept both Truck and Buggy finals at the Quebec Classic this weekend, soundly stomping all over the Americans whom he invited to the race.
In the Truck final, the Hot Bodies driver sped off to the win by over two laps in front of TLR's Adam Drake, with Mugen Seiki's Derek Sousa hanging on for third despite retiring from the race before the end of the 30 minutes.
In the Buggy class, Tessmann again won from TQ position - but it wasn't quite so easy. As rain hit the track while the cars were racing, the race director made the decision to call the final complete with just over six minutes remaining. At that time, Tessmann led Ryan Cavalieri by less than three seconds with Reno Savoya fewer than nine seconds further behind.
