Race report from XRAY:
XRAY T4 wins South German Championships R3
The 3rd round of the 1/10 TC South German Championship took place in Marbach near Stuttgart. In this Series, three categories were presented:
Category 1: TW Modified
Category 2: TW Sport, with "0-boost" controller + 13,5T motor
Category 3: TW Hobby, with "0-boost" controller + 17,5T motor
The event started Saturday morning with free practice. The Marbach racetrack is a small and technical high demanding track. The surface was sugar watered for increased traction.
Modified Class:
My XRAY T4 worked very well on these conditions, so I was able to win all qualification rounds and started from the TQ spot in the finals.
The latitude of the track was so tight at some sections, that it was difficult to overtake another driver in an accurate way.
In the first and second A-Main I made clear runs, without mistakes and took the victory. In the third final my teammate Tim Wahl finished 1st in front of Marco Buhmann.

Stock Class:
In the Sport class (13.5T no boost), XRAY dominated also the whole race.
The battle for the TQ spot was between Valentin Hettrich and Tobias Vogel. It was super close racing. At the end, Valentin was able to set the faster run and started from first on the grid. Third was the young talent Clemes Neubert, who showed also a great performance.
In the finals, Valentin made two “from the start to the finish line” victories, but he was always under pressure from Tobias.

It was a great weekend, which was very good organized by the MCG-Strohgäu. The XRAY cars showed an impressive performance and more than the half of the driver field used the new XRAY T4 '14.
