From from Yokomo (via Facebook):
Last weekend, the Japanese Model Racing Car Association national championships were held on a special course inside the Yatabe Arena, with the entire track surface covered in astroturf.
Yokomo's Naoto Matsukura dominated the event by sweeping 2WD and 4WD.
In 2WD, Naoto won ahead of reigning champion Yusuke Sugiura's Kyosho buggy, and his Yokomo teammate Kai Kikuchi, who finished on the bottom step of the podium for the second year in a row.
In 4WD, Naoto's win came ahead of another Yokomo teammate, 2007 2WD IFMAR World Champion Hayato Matsukura in his return to off-road racing, and third place finisher Kohta Akimoto driving a Kyosho.
