Ryan Maifield continued his incredible start with new sponsors Team Losi Racing and Team Orion, walking into OCRC Raceway for this past weekend's Surf City Classic with plenty of momentum and leaving with a pile of hardware. Maifield set TQ in 2WD Modified, 4WD Modified, and 1/8-Scale Electric, and then won all three plus the Pro 2 division after starting second behind Team Orion-powered Kyosho driver Jared Tebo.

Maifield's teammate Frank Root added the Pro 4 class TQ and win to give Team Orion a clean sweep of every Modified division at the event.
