NT1 wins the Northern German Championship
Last weekend the last of rounds oft he Northern German Championship arrived to the Hildesheim track. The ranking of the IC 1:10 class previous the last round was Bernd Hasselbring with NT1 in front of Kristof Sielaff and Frank Falkenberg also driving an NT1. Best chances had Kristoff securing two victories while the season, counting 3 out of 5. The challenge was for all to bring home a good result to count as third.
After four rounds of qualifiers the ranking was Lars Hoppe on pole, showing a real good pace with fastest lap of 15,355 sec. Second spot has Ralph Krause, the owner of the track record of 15,241 mastered in 2009 followed by Bernd with a gap of 1.4sec. Kristof and Frank were on 5th and 7th position and has to go through the semifinal. Finally this was not a concern and they entered starting positions 5 and 8.
The start of the 30min-final brought no surprises. Lars pulled away of the field followed by Ralph and Bernd. At the first 5 min stop Lars run out of fuel and the first 3 were close together again. At the 10 min stop Ralph was the unlucky fellow running out of fuel. Bernd took over the 2nd spot. This order stays until the end oft he race. Frank came in on 6th in front of Kristof.

With this result Bernd secured finally the Northern German Championship. Kristof as well as Frank stays also on their positions.
