Race report from Team Durango:
2014 German Triple National Title – Team Durango
The 2014 double EFRA European Champion, Jörn Neumann, has struck again with another prestigious off-road race title victory.
Jörn has just returned from the German 1/10 Off-Road National Championships, taking first overall in 4WD Buggy with his DEX410v4, and also taking first overall in Short Course with his DESC410v2.
Despite wet conditions, that plagued the Buggy practice and qualifying rounds during the first day of this two day competition, Jörn was able to take TQ with his DEX410v4 and DESC410v2 vehicles. This double victory also included an almost faultless start-to-finish win in the ‘A’ Main finals in both classes, leaving the competition some ten seconds in his wake.
Founder Team Durango legend, Gerd Strenge, was also able to secure a very pleasing victory, racing his DEX410v4 in the stock class. This gave Team Durango a clean sweep of German National victories, taking all three classes home for the 2014 season.
