Press release from Schumacher:

The BRCA 2wd and 4wd National Off Road F2, Veteran and Junior championships were held this weekend at the large and well prepared track at Boughton Raceway.

The Junior and Veteran classes were split into age groups of U13, U16, V40 and V50.

Qualifying the 2wd F2 class would be a battle between Jonathon Brown and Schumacher driver Andy Jones. Andy Jones took 3 rounds of qualifying giving him TQ with Jonathon taking the second spot Nick Oliver taking third and Schumacher's Tristram Neal taking Forth.

The finals went well for Andy taking the win on the first two Legs with Tristram Neal taking second on both from forth to secure second overall. Wez Jolly all the way from Ninth on the grid was able to finish third overall to make it a Schumacher 123.

In the Veterans class Ellis Stafford took the glory of the qualifying and finals to take the win from Alec Springer and to finish off the podium Danny Conway.

In the U16 class Schumacher Driver Jack Neal was back to defend his title from 2013. He proved that he was very able to stay at the top by dominating qualifying and the finals winning the meeting. Second place was Steven Best and Third Paul Crompton.

U13 Class was very competitive with a lot of young future super stars looking to take the title.  Jack Hirst was the Top qualifier for the day with some great driving.

Unfortunately the finals did not go in Jacks Favour. Instead Luke Holdsworth showed his steady head for the finals by winning two legs and coming second in the last. Lewis Jones worked well to take the second spot and Ben Pugh taking the third spot.

Sundays Qualifying for the F2 4wd class showed an interesting set of scores with 4 drivers achieving a score of 2 points with Schumachers Sam Martin, Gareth Stanton, Dan Greenwood and Schumachers Andrew Jones all having a Tq in round and a second place. Sam ended up on the top spot of qualifying then Gareth, Dan and then Andrew.

In the Finals Sam held the lead for the first two legs allowing him to take the win with some great driving. Andy Jones wasn’t able to re-create the great success of the previous day but second was still a great achievement. Gareth Stanton took the third spot with some good final placings.

Vets 4wd was a good class to watch, with Ellis taking the top spot again, Danny Conway took the second spot with Alec Springer working well to get up to third.

In the finals Ellis was again the clear winner with three leg wins. Danny took second and Tony Evdoka Third. Schumachers Paul Timberlake from sixth place worked his way up to fourth.

U16 class again Jack Neal showed his pace and took the qualifying rounds and finals. Paul Crompton took second and Laura Hicklin taking third.

U13 Luke Holdsworth had a perfect day taking the top qualifying spot and meeting win with some great driving. Jack Hirst had a better day finishing second and Lewis Jones taking the third spot.

Congratulations from Schumacher!
