Race report from Serpent:
Micha Widmaier German junior champion and eighth overall in the German Championship in the class OR 8 Buggy
Micha was able to get a consistently good performance with his Cobra in the 2nd round in Freising. After the heats Micha qualified for the final ¼ B, where he started on the grid from 3rd.
As it rained a lot the track was sprinkled with sawdust to improve the track a little. Despite these very difficult track conditions Micha made 2nd place to cross the finish line and he made it into the B semifinals. Unfortunately, the race had to be stopped due to heavy rains and the results till then made up the end result.
Micha took in the end the 18th spot overall and became best Junior driver again!
In the overall standings of the two nationals in Landshut with 5th place and Freising 18th place, Micha finished a strong 8th place overall of 130 drivers and was also the Junior German junior champion in the overall standings. Great result for Micha with Cobra already, as he moved to Serpent just 2 months ago.
