Micha Widmaier gets the second DM-title
After 1:10 electric 4WD class Micha secured himself another victory in the 2WD Buggy 1:10 electric class and the title of German junior champion again.
On 6th + 7th September, the German Championship took place in Gemünden in class 10:1 electric 2WD buggy. Unfortunately the weather played a major role in the award of the final schedule line up once again. Micha could drive only 2 heats on a dry track of 5 heats, the remaining three he had a wet track cope with. With a 6th and a 4th place in the heats of 60 starters, handed Micha again only on the 11th place in the overall standings after the heats, as with the 4WD-DM. Thus, he started from square one in the B final, that he could win and he then again in the general standings, the DM-title junior secured at the end of 11th place. Micha showed pace for a top 5 finish with his 6th and 4th in qualifying but it wasn't to be. However it was great to see another German Junior title gained in 2014!
