WORLDS: TQ Matsukura starts quest for four in a row from front of the grid

By setting the fastest time in the first four rounds of qualifying, three-time defending IFMAR World Champion Naoto Matsukura took one step closer to a record-breaking fourth consecutive title by locking up the TQ spot for today's triple A-Mains. After dominating early on, a crash broke his car in the fifth round and he struggled (by his standards) in a very crash-filled final qualifying heat, leaving room for three-time touring car champ Marc Rheinard to lock up second on the grid with a win in round five, and defending European Champion Alexander Hagberg scored a much-needed TQ in the final round to move up to fourth on the grid.
