Last weekend, racers braved the cold (down to 6 deg C, or about 42 deg. F) to compete in last weekend's Christmas Race at Mini Car Club Demmartinois just outside of the French capitol. With headline sponsors Schumacher and TOP Options, the carpet off-road race with mandated spec tires organized 2WD competition on Saturday and 4WD on Sunday.
In the 2WD portion, new HB team driver Renaud Savoya piloted a RedMax B52, lent to him by Arnaud Taibi and Red Workshop, to the fastest time in three of the four qualifying rounds. Savoya won A1 and A2 to lock up the title early.

In 4WD, XRAY's Martin Bayer dominated all four rounds of qualifying and won A1 outright. His 2015 edition XB4 stopped with two minutes to go in A2, however, letting Bayer's teammate Martin Wollanka by for the win. Bayer regained the top spot in A3 to earn the overall.
