Race report from NEMO Racing (by Hunter Kinsey):

RC PRO FINALS WIN FOR HUNTER

We arrived at the track around 11 o’clock on Friday morning, with practice was set to open at 12. We unpacked and set up quickly and as we had all our prep done before time, we were one of the first cars out on track. This high clay content track was still wet from the watering in the morning, and was providing very high grip with my super soft free rides on my buggy. I soon was turning some good laps and got the layout of the track down, and committed to memory.

In the first round of Truggy I managed to take the TQ, and in Buggy I was second, so a really good start. I made some changes that didn't work so well and ended up going backwards for rounds two and three in buggy. In the Truggy class my car was excellent throughout, and I was able to take the overall TQ.

When mains day came I went back to my original set up on my Buggy and the car was great again. For the main I chose BETA Cubez in Soft compound, and they were brilliant and I was able to challenge for the win, just coming up short in second. In the Truggy main, I had an early battle with Steve B, but was able to see him off and go on to take the win with my Agama A8T.

A great way to end 2014, and now I look forward to the new A215 Buggy and a great 2015 season.

[EDIT 12/29: the title was edited to reflect that Kinsey won the Truck class main event, not both classes like originally stated. Spencer Harrison won the overall championship in Truck. Josh Glancy won the final round of Buggy, while Tyler Hooks took the championship.]
