Race report from XRAY (by Drew Ellis):
XRAY Dominates At The 2015 HUDY Indoor Champs
HUDY Indoor Champs were held at ProlevelRC in Saint Louis, MO. On January 2nd,3rd and 4th of 2015. Factory drivers Paul Lemieux and Drew Ellis were in attendance for the race. I had a little advantage with it being my home track.
The format was three qualifiers on Saturday with a dinner for the racers. One qualifier and the mains on Sunday. The race was very laid back with plenty of track time for drivers to test many things. Myself and Paul were able to help and spend time with all the racers.
Classes that were ran at the race were 1/12 stock, TC stock, TC mod, USGT and F1. To make things fun Paul decided to have everyone start the mains in reverse order. Everyone was good sports about it, so that's what we did. TQ's went to the back and so on. The mains were very exciting because of the reverse start.
