Race report from LRP America:

LRP FACTORY DRIVER DREW MOLLER DOMINATES AT THE PROLINE WINTER NATIONALS

This past weekend the Annual Proline Winter Nationals was held in San Jacinto CA at Motorhead R/C Raceway.

In attendance was some of the fastest SoCal racers including LRP's Driver Drew Moller. Also some well known names like Cody Turner, and recent Reedy open class Champion Kevin Motter. This was a 2 day race that consisted of 3 qualifying rounds on Saturday, and main events on Sunday.

Drew Moller went into this race with high confidence and it showed, with not only putting down the TQ in both modified 2WD buggy, and 4WD Modified Buggy, but would do this in the first two rounds of qualifying securing the overall early in the game.

Come main time, again Drew would perform flawless in the triple A main format secure the wins in both classes.

Drew relied on LRP's full line of electronics. Below is a list of equipment used.

50674 Vector X20 Modified 6.5T Motor
50654 Vector X20 Modified 8.5T Motor
430214 Lipo Comp 4700mah Shorty Pack
41556 Pulsar Touch Charger
43200 Powersupply 20Amp

Drew also started using the new line of batteries coming soon to the US. In his 2wd he used the new LCG Shorty Pack. This allowed him to have less weight and a lower pack offering better speed in the corners. Below is a how Drew Moller described the new pack.

The LCG pack opens up a whole new door to car setup. The Thin and light LCG pack allows you to fine tune your car for optimum performance. It takes away chassis roll and weight. The reduced chassis roll allows you to drive your car harder and more comfortably. The weight reduction allows you to move weight to other places on your vehicle which acts as a ballast. Overall the LCG battery is a must when fine tuning your car for speed and performance.

Great performance Drew, leading up to the Cactus Classic!
