Australian drivers dominated the FEMCA Championships this past weekend, which were held in Perth. Behind the wheel of the RC8B3 buggy, Team Associated's Kyle McBride dominated the field - he was the top qualifier, and comfortably won the hour-long final with over a lap on second place. The gap was nearly as large between the TLR buggy of Craig Laughton, which finished second, back to Aaron Stringer's Mugen in third.
Thirteen of the sixteen drivers who raced in the final all hail from Australia, with appearances by US driver Mark Pavidis, Indonesia’s Jason Nugroho, and Korean racer Ryan Lee.
